Four short classes for beginners in August
- You will learn simple mediation practices and mindfulness techniques that will allow you to be more present for the joyful moments of your life and and more skillful in navigating the challenges.
- You are asked to attend all four classes & complete an evaluation form upon completion of the program.
- Fees/Donation - Registration is on a sliding scale from $0 to $50 ( total for all 4 classes) - based on your financial ability.
NOTE: Class size will be limited to 10 students - If you're interested please complete the form below as soon as you can.
Your teacher - Matt Westendorf
- Matt is an experienced meditation practitioner, certified executive coach, and second year student in the Mediation & Mindfulness Teaching Certification Program, led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Content & Schedule
Each class will consist of the following elements:
- Welcome/Check-in - 10 minutes
- Talk/presentation by Matt - 15 minutes
- Guided Meditation Practice - 10 minutes
- Question & answer/discussion period - 25+ minutes
Classes will be offered via Zoom Thursdays in August - 6:00pm to 7:00pm MST on these dates:
- August 4 - What is mindfulness?
- August 11- Mindfulness of the Body
- August 18 - Mindfulness of Emotions
- August 25 - Loving Kindness & Self Compassion
